The Itinerary

This route links the Bas-Saint-Laurent to New Brunswick through the Saint John Valley, long the main corridor between Quebec and the Maritimes.

From Rivière-du-Loup, Route 185 follows the Loup River south to the New Brunswick border, then continues to Edmundston — a bilingual Acadian city at the crossroads of Quebec, Maine and Acadia. The Témiscouata wildlife reserve borders the corridor.
