The Itinerary

Sainte-Flavie is the official portal to Gaspésie from Rimouski. This short 35-km drive on Route 132 skirts the St. Lawrence coast with constant river and island views.

Sainte-Flavie is best known for Marcel Gagnon's outdoor sculptures: concrete and granite figures emerging from the river at high tide. The Centre d'art Marcel Gagnon is a unique installation worldwide. The junction also marks the Bas-Saint-Laurent/Gaspésie divide.
