The Itinerary
Everyone drives the Montreal–Quebec City stretch on Highway 20. But Route 132 along the south shore is a completely different adventure: 270 km of historic villages, mudflats, apple orchards and river panoramas.
Sorel-Tracy, Nicolet, Louiseville, Yamaska — the road crosses the soul of rural Quebec. The Laviolette Bridge at Trois-Rivières offers a spectacular view of the St. Lawrence. Then the road follows the Lotbinière mudflats before dropping into Lévis and the ferry to Quebec City.
