The Itinerary

The town of Portneuf, on the north shore of the St. Lawrence, is the heart of a fertile agricultural region increasingly recognized for its artisan microbreweries. The Portneuf Beer Route connects a dozen craft breweries within 50 km.

The Jacques-Cartier–Portneuf cycling trail (182 km), a converted former railway line, passes through Portneuf and offers a cycling journey through agricultural and forested landscapes.
