The Itinerary

Between Gaspé, the peninsula's historic capital, and Percé, Gaspésie's tourism jewel, Route 132 follows the ocean for 75 km past sandy bays, fishing hamlets and spectacular Gulf overlooks.

L'Anse-à-Beaufils, a former cod port reborn as an arts hub, hosts the beautiful La Vieille Usine performance venue. Coin-du-Banc, a 7 km beach of sand and pebbles, is one of maritime Quebec's most beautiful. At Barachois, the covered bridge over a sea inlet and old Jersey houses recall 19th-century Anglo-Norman immigration.

Approaching Percé, the first sight of Percé Rock emerges around the Pic-de-l'Aurore bend — an iconic moment. The Percé UNESCO Global Geopark offers a glass suspension platform 200 m above the Gulf for unforgettable views.
